new enrolment information

Kids New Enrolment Information

We are a private, members’ only School, and children may only begin lessons once booking has been accepted. A slot in a class is secured only once it is paid for in advance or when a direct debit has been set up.

Enrolment is ongoing and you can start at any time.

  1. Your child will be enrolled in a class and will attend on the same day and time each week
  2. We do not hold places or accept part payments/deposits
  3. Lessons are NOT transferable nor refundable to other people including family members, and cannot be credited unless Dolphin Swim Academy is at fault
  4. Planned closures are on all public Bank Holidays and for up to two (2) weeks over the Christmas/New Year period. You are not charged for these days, therefore make up lessons are not required. Our August timetable will be a separate entity, so unless booked your class will rollover to September.
  5. If a group lesson has one (1) or two (2) students in it, Dolphin Swim Academy reserves the right to consolidate that class. At least one week’s notice will be provided of the change and we will do our best to find a suitable alternative class. We do not guarantee teacher requests and teacher schedules may change at any time
  6. You may be given access to a Customer Portal which allows you to manage your child’s enrolment. It is critical that you check your emails for notifications regarding this

Class Fee’s

Lesson fees are payable in advance and only current, paid members can attend classes. A position in a class is not held without payment. The fee structure is calculated on a ‘cost per lesson’ basis. Our preferred option is monthly payments via Direct Debit. If joining midway through a term a card payment will be taken for the lessons taken before the start of the 1st direct debit payment.

Direct Debit is divided into equal payments by the invoice total for the term length that is booked and will continue to the following terms unless notified.

  1. A Direct Debit form must be completed and returned upon enrolment
  2. Please note any additional fees that are indicated on the form, including fees for declined debits
  3. The Direct Debit amounts payable may differ depending on how many lessons there are in the period you are being charged for. (the term length)
  4. Membership is ongoing and debits will continue until a completed cancellation form is received by Dolphin Swim Academy at 1 month before the last swim.  If we do not receive the form on time, the following month will be charged
  5. Failed Direct Debit payments must be paid for prior to the next scheduled lesson
  6. Failed Direct Debit payments incur an admin fee from the Direct Debit provider. Please refer to your Direct Debit agreement for relevant fees
  7. If your Direct Debit payment fails more than two (2) times in a row, Dolphin Swim Academy! reserves the right to suspend Direct Debit payments and request upfront payments

Discounts

If three (3) or more members of one family (Immediate) attend swimming lessons they will receive the 3rd half price.

Make-Up Lessons
